I can't remember when or where I got mine, but I use it every week for lacy undies, and boyfriend's nicest short-type ones, also my tights in the winter. Anything that I think might snag on either the inside of the machine, or something rough off another item, or anything that may get stretched too much if all mangled up with the rest of the wash. I wouldn't be without it, and I agree, it does add lifespan to your tights!0

Just seen this post, I'd just like to say that I've been using the for years, they are great and they last a very long time.
I bought poundshop ones and they lasted a few months, while these have lasted several years of regular use (about 3 times a week). Unfortunately I only use the largest size, so the other two are a waste of money for me. But the quality is fantastic.0 -
I too think that they are fab - I got mine as a freebie & it has lasted for years. It does have a very soft zip that is enclosed - beautifully made.
I use Onya bags for fruit & veg at the market and those bags also do beautifully for washing delicates. I know people who make them from old nets, but I haven't had old nets to use.0
