    Afternoon Gemmzie :)

Keren - I felt very like you are describing when I suffered with anxiety attacks a few years ago. My house was 'safe' and everywhere else was 'not safe'. You know if you were to put your hand into boiling water, every impulse in your body would scream at you to take it out? That's how I felt about being at work - every impulse was screaming 'go back home, where it's safe'. After a couple of weeks though it was as though my brain suddenly accepted work as a safe place to be, and once it had done that, the urge to run subsided. I hope it's the same for you.

Bunny - you get him told! It's a pretty new company isn't it? I think he obviously needs a woman of your skills and experience to push him in the right direction!

Bobbadog, glad it went well, shame about the holiday though, but I suppose it will be worth it, if he gets a great job.

She did really well thanks Elli - just a few tears when I picked her up, but she's been really chatty and happy all afternoon, so I think she must have enjoyed it.

I have to keep remembering - it isn't going to be like my last job!

    That's right - it isn't.

Have to also confess, I'm glad to be back hidden away in the house again until tomorrow, I guess that will start to pass with time.

No guesses. It *will* get better.

Zed, I was a snivelling idiot, wiping away tears as I walked home with my empty pram, and posting gloomy messages on here.

But now I know (or think) she has enjoyed it, and obviously isn't too traumatised by it, I feel lots happier. In fact, I would be really pleased about her going to nursery, if it wasn't for the small matter of having to go back to work! :)

I just wish she would drink formula, because there's no way I will have time to express in a morning, and it's a long time for her to go with no milk (although she's having water and juice).

Did I mention my boobs were killing me by the time I finally fed her at 3.45pm?! :rotfl:
