Prestige Copper bottom pans

Hi

When I was 20 I bought 2 of these pans. They had a life time guarantee:D Just thought I'd let you know that 25 years later they are still going strong. I would recommend them to anyone.:D

I had some in my 'bottom drawer' around 37 years ago and a couple are still used occasionally. They really are built to last!

My grandma had a set she bought over 40 years ago. She gave them to my mum when she moved in with her, and my mum used them for a few years. When she replaced them, she gave them to me as back-ups for my husband's cafe. When we sold the cafe, I left my newer saucepans there and took the Prestige copper-based ones!

I still have them, although I'm finally looking for a replacement set as the handle on the large saucepan is about to give up the ghost - I wonder if the lifetime guarantee is still in force, as my grandmother is still alive (although she can no longer cook for herself. She's 91!

Funny old thing, I'm looking for a set of Prestige copper-bottomed pans in the sales. I have a feeling they will be the last set I'll ever need to buy!
  • Not a lot of profit in these pans then for Prestige...............!!!!

I have had a set of Prestige Lifetime copper bottom/wooden handled pans for about 19 years now, and today disaster struck, one of the handles broke!

Does anyone know where to get replacement handles?
    Nice to save.
  • I was given a set of Prestige Copper Bottom Saucepans for a wedding present in 1970. I have used then EVERY day since! A week ago the handle fell off one, which I have had put back on for a few pounds, and it looks just as good. They are still in very good condition and I wouldn't be without them. 39 years old and still going strong! Is this a record? The life time Guarantee, where do I go for that? And do I have the right after 39 years?
