Virgin broadband phone and tv how many cables

Have had virgin BB for ages and have just signed up for phone and tv, just wondering how many cables this involves (i know sensibly the answer is 3) but
Will they just take a spur off of the BB cable already installed for the extra stuff or does it all come on seperate cables from the 1 internal box.
Have a period house and really trying to avoid any more cables
thanks in advance for any help

We have one cable fropm the street to the house. That cable comes through the wall to a white plastic box which I thin k has the phone connection coming out of it and another cable that then goes to a splitter that splits it into a cable for the TV and one for the Broadband. Ours is near where it comes into the house but I guess you could have this where you want.

  • i have the tv and phone through one small box in the sitting room and the broadband in one of the rear bedrooms, the cable for this goes under the eaves of the garage then follows the line of the brickwork so you hardly notice it.
i think it depends on the instalation guys where it goes but the ones we had were very accommodating.

This was the answer i was hoping for, our BB cable already runs through the house and when that was installed i had to remove it repaint and re attch as the guy had stapled it to the front of the door fram rather than to the edge for some reason. So i'm hoping that they can take a fee from this cable and run the tv out the back of the house and to the upstairs bedroom.
    thanks all for help
