Which 32" LCD?

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a 32" lcd TV as a gift for someone but I am unsure what/which to go for.

I have looked at the one mentioned in Martins weekly email:
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/131916/show_product_overview

but I have also seen this from Play.com:
http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/5217162/Toshiba-32-32C3031D-HD-Ready-Freeview-Widescreen-LCD-TV/Product.html?dpr=141507

Which one is better?

The person that it is for doesn't do anything special with the tv, just sky, dvd and video.

Thanks

Jan

    Both good deals.

Personally I would go for the tosh as I prefer brands I know, also you get the stand thrown in.

Not a fan of EBuyer myself, in the past they have sent me damaged and incorrect items so I don't use them anymore.

the toshiba has 2 hdmi sockets and a better Contrast Ratio
for an extra £100.00 i would go for the following

    gret reviews on the internet.
this was whathifi's budget 32in TV Supertest.

Although I'd avoid play.com for large/expensive goods such as this as you're not covered by either the sale of goods act or the distance selling regulations. You'd have very limited legal options if anything went wrong.

The EBuyer set is quite good for the money, but it has a few shortcomings.
The remote control is a swine to use and can be very tempremental until you get used to it. The setup proceedure can be difficult for a non-techie but, for the money, it's passable.
