easyJet Spain & Portugal Sale

I'm trying to book a return flight with easyJet to Barcelona, but need advice on the price.

The outbound leg seems like a normal reasonable price at around £40.

However, the return journey to the UK in June seems absurdly expensive at around £100. Yet easyJet are advertising that they are having a sale at the minute: 20% off trips to Spain and Portugal in April and June. I think this £100 price comes under the sale (it's highlighed in bright yellow and has an asterix).

Can anyone tell me if £100 is a good price for returning to the UK in June by easyJet or should I wait to see what the price is after the sale?

Never mind, I've answered my own question. Interestingly, it actually seems there was little difference between the prices before and after the sale (it may have varied by about £5). It's no longer yellow or asterixed since the sale went off at midnight tonight.

Good lesson though, budget airline sales aren't always that great value, a good sale will probably be obvious.

Try looking at one way flights with other airlines.You might get the return leg cheaper somewhere else.

It may just be the marketing speak..

I had the same problem when checking out the 'cheap' flight prices, the trip there was cheap, but coming back was expensive. So, not exactly the cheap deal advertised.

Prices are all down to availability with scheduled airlines and Easyet work the same. The busier the flight, the more expensive the fare.
