If you're doing your own sellers conveyancing I'm assuming you're doing your own HIP? If so please be aware that you need to include the lease in the HIP as a mandatory document with the other leasehold information being optional.Happy to help with HIPs and EPCs0

It is relevant in that a solicitor does this day in day out and will be more aware of potential problems that you may not, it is not scaremongering it is just my personal opinion if you feel confident that you are fully au fait with all the rules covering property law and conveyancing then go ahead. Even solicitors get it wrong sometimes, but the differnce is they have proffesional indemnity to cover themselves against any potential law suite. You do not.0
