New Laptop??

Hello everybody,

I'm after a laptop, I've never had one before.

I need it for going away with work so it should have reasonable storage capacity, wireless internet, only a 15 inch screen and I'm guessing 2 gig of ram to run vista.

I want it for watching movies, surfing the web and some very basic games (eg. civilisation, proper old school).

I've got £400ish to spend, from a look around I've seen these

Do they look resonable?

Any suggestions for any other machines would be very much appreciated:D:D

I would recommend the Dell Inspiron 1525 15.4" widescreen from £329

We've always had very good service from Dell, and their reliability, well, we've never had one fail (except for misuse!).

Try and ditch Vista and get XP instead, it'll be much easier to use and get support for.

What Belnahua said except get Vista as it's much nicer than XP and there's no problem getting support for it or any dificulty in using it.

In all seriousness the company I work for buys thousands of Laptops every year and they're all Dells. They're not the flashiest but they seem reliable enough and they're not overly expensive.
It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die
