Trainline Refund Policy - There Isn't One
Booked train tickets for a long journey down south, turns out now I can get off in the midlands and get a lift direct to the venue. Booked the tickets on trainline and called them to ask about changing the stop, they refused saying my ticket type was not eligible for refunds. Only booked it a few days ago, and don't travel for over a week. Any ideas on what I can do?

if you booked a 'cheap' advance ticket then it says no refunds,
sorry but I dont think there is anything unless you took out the insuranceIMOJACAR

Sorry go4it, but as hart says it sounds as though the ticket type isn't eligible for refunds. If you can tell us the type, as stated on the ticket, someone can confirm it. It's nothing to do with Thetrainline, it's the train operator's ticket policy that determines whether changes or refunds can be made.
Sorry can't be more help0
