Confirmed Faster Payments Timescale

First Direct have confirmed to me that they and HSBC will be joining the scheme in June and it will take 2 hours to transfer money to any UK bank in the scheme.
I replied back asking if they will be charging for this service - so we wait and see.

If you do it in branch then you will have to make a CHAPS payment and pay £30?
