Google redirecting to sales sites

Hi, wonder if anyone can help a nontechy laydeeee :rotfl:
When I enter a search in google the results come up, but when I click on them I am redirected to a sales site - different ones each time. The same happens in ask.com as well.
For example I type 'BBC' in google search - top result is BBC.co.uk - so I click on that - a financial services website comes up
I have done a full virus scan which shows nothing.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
