0870 numbers

It annoys me when I have to spend 9 or 10 pence per minute to talk to a company about something which is entirely their fault. There is a web site which can give me the geographic phone number so that, using 18866 I can call for 2 pence connection fee. The site is:- http://www.saynoto0870.com/companysearch.php
All I have to do is enter either the 0870 number or the company name and search.

It is generally recommended to search by company name and also check the unverified list (which is separate from the main list) and this can be done by clicking on 'List Unverified Entries' button at the bottom of the search page.

The Unverified list does not unfortunately have a search facility built-in and therefore you can use IE's 'Find (on this page)' or Control-F and then enter the company name.
