I like card making too and have loads of bits of paper, card, packaging etc to make up new cards. However I also love buying cards to keep as spares too, for the times I don't have time to make cards. Last year I brought a few cards from Matalan at 10p each. You can't argue with that can you? I do love Marks and Spencers cards too but only buy them at 50p max. Got a few in their recent sale.

I make a lot of cards for different charities and have found the best value for money is to buy a box of card from the paper mill and fold it yourself. I can get envelopes 50 for 99p from a local shop and I bought my last lot of bags to put them in off of ebay. 100 for £2.10.

Considering Anita Crafts want £9.99 for 50 folded cream cards and envelopes and bags are 1.99 for 25. It is a massive savings and also you get to choose the colour of the card instead of just boring cream and white.

Hobbycraft own stickers are not copyrighted so are fine to use in charity cards. Most stamps and stickers are copyrighted which means they can't be used to make money from. I know the cards are for charity and not personally gain. But I don't take the chance as I would hate for the charity to get in trouble.

Craft creations card ideas are great and they can be made to sell. There de-coupage and background papers I believe are not copyrighted so can be used to make items to be sold.
