    And if it fails you have to pay £19.95 for a retest and all additional work needed to your car.

    Sounds to me as if they have

    (1) an incentive to fail your car, and
    (2) a licence to charge extortionate prices for repairs

    the offer said that last year , but mine failed on 2 things. They didnt insist that it had to be taken back there....but if it did , then i would have been charged the 19.50 + fees....

    May be of use to someone , if not , dont slag it off just because you dont live in Manchester!

    I've tried texting MOT and mot to the number, and I get told it's not recognised...
