HELP, Tearing my hair out, 3 mobile broadband

Hi peeps,
really need some help. I have bought a 3 mobile broadband dongle. Model:ZTE MF622. I have loaded it onto my laptop but when i try to get it going it keeps coming up with error messages.
1, ZTE mobile connection........... Access violation at address 004E9252 in module 'datacard'.exe'. Read of address 000002EC
2, Exception EOleException in module DLL_NETCARD_R.DLL at 00044DC2
3, EAaccessViolation
My head is done in. I have taken it back to the shop with my laptop and even they cant sort it out. I only bought it on saturdat and 3 say as i am over the three day limit for return they will only offer me a repair. I spent 100.00 on this. The shop thinks it could be laptop. We did try another dongle in the shop but it did the same thing. Please i have been at this since saturday. I hope someone can help me. Thank you in advance guys. xxxxxxxxxxx

My dongle is connected to laptop. But there is a little red box with a white arrow in my toolbar. When i right click or left click on that it saying modem not detected.
