LTSB Regular Saver

I signed up for LTSB 8% Regular Saver last March. I have lost the blurb and forgotten whether this is a 12 or 24 month introductory offer. Can anyone confirm?

Depends exactly when in March 2007 you opened it. If 12th onwards, it's going to be a one year account...

I opened it on 5th March. The T&Cs (Version 4) say "For a period of 24 months from opening you can make a monthly payment of between £25 and £250" but make no mention of rates. I am hoping this means at 8% for two years?

I phoned the bank and they told me it was 8% for 12 months, now 4.55% but I think that is nonsense. I might get a more reliable response to a letter?

There is no information on the LTSB web site re:

Problem solved, got another call from LTSB confirming that my regular saver is 8% fixed interest for 2 years.

Left and right hand I guess?
