How do I make tile grouting white again and cover the cracks ?

I've tried the bleach, bicarbonate, various cleaners scrubbed with old toothbrushes etc on some discoloured grouting in my bathroom. After very limited success got one of those grout pens , bit fiddly to use at first but you quickly get used to it and it's really smartened it up.0

I personally would use flexible silicone (decorators caulk) on the cracks you describe as it sounds like they need to move slightly.
Another vote for this....tried various products but could not get grout completely white.....after scrubbing with a heavy duty brush too
I tried the above with a toothbrush and without even brushing - as soon as it went on the grout went white
It seemed like a miracle......best thing ever

do the job properly. scrape the old stuff out and regrout it.
simple enough job.
you can even buy the correct tool for removing old grout. but almost any sharp point will do it. even a 6in nail will do ok.
the various whiteners never seem to do it very well.Get some gorm.0 -
when my grout was looking manky I used a metal skewer that I use for kebabs and got out as much as I could then re-grouted and it still looks good. this is me who is the most cack-handed person you could wish to meet.0

In my kitchen, I just painted the grey grouting with white emulsion, it worked a treat.0
