New Laptop - O2 Broadband - Constantly Disconnecting?

Thanks, think I will, we do live over a mile from the exchange which could be an issue, even though it is a rather big residential area!0

By using o2 Broadband Assistant you are being notified when the connection drops, as part of the management of the device.
Your XBox does not have o2 Broadband Assistant on so is not being notified of the disconnection when it occurs.
I assume this is why you believe you laptop is disconnecting and not the XBox. There is also a chance that the XBox's connection parameters are a lot more lienent than your laptops meaning it waits longer before telling you is disconnected. This might be long enough for the connection to reconnect?
Good luck with BT.
