Can anyone please suggest some cards currently offering 0% on purchases, preferably for a year?
For whatever reason, the main site doesn't list these - or if it does I can't find it.
With interest rates at 3% or more after tax anything over 6 months interest-free is worth more than 1% cashback. And if you have debts of course these become even more attractive (assuming you can get the card and have the necessary financial discipline).
Thanks for any suggestions.

I'm with CannyJock on this.
For a comprehensive list of 0% purchases cards, updated regularly and not influenced by advertising commissions, http://www.stoozing.com/purchases.htm, sponsored by MoneySavingExpert, is hard to beat.
To maximise the interest-free period, 12 months is available to new customers from Halifax and HSBC. The Hally seems to give the better credit limits

Thanks Moggles and Canny Jock. I should have remembered Martin's other site.
I've already got a Halifax card for a 0% bt (rotten credit limit, though) and I see you can no longer apply for the Purchase card on-line. But luckily there's a branch down the road, so maybe my wife will strike lucky if I don't.However hard up you are, never accept loans from your friends. Just gifts0 -
