Do you know if they start at +1.00 or +0.50?
I just hate giving specsavers over the odds for a simple metal frame.0 -
1.5,2.00,.2.50 and 3.00 apparently.0

+1 start in Poundland. Price ... a pound.0

Damn i need +0.500

'George' of Asda sells these, but they start at +1.50 (weak). I bought a pair for £2 after I'd had one cataract done and before the other. I do need proper reading specs but I keep these as 'spare'.

Well (long story a coming)......
I have a high prescription +9.50 and +10.50 and use contact lenses to correct this....unfortunatly i have corneal oedema which means my prescription fluctuates ever so slightly so specsavers advised me to use some reading glasses when driving and using the computer (they have sharpened my vision and i do feel a bit safer driving). I only need a +0.50 at the most but if i do anything that needs me to focus like reading a board (im a student) watching tv or driving i get a blinding headache after a few mins.
It does annoy me though as the oedema is quite bad and i have blood vessels growing where they should not be, i will not be considered for a corneal transplant duto my age. Im actually too young:( (25)0 -
Ah right, you need +.5 then ... I was thinking you were in the generation who find our arms have shrunk when we want to read things! :rotfl:Signature removed for peace of mind0

Corneal Oedema & Neovascularization sound like bad news to me - Have your Opticians thought of trying a higher oxygen permeable material? The other option is refractive (not laser) surgery such as implants.Beware the character seeking personal gain masquerading as a moral crusader.
