been quoted £300 labour to remove my old boiler and replace with a new one, in the same location on a wall. Is this about right? And how long of a job would this take?

That seems reasonable. I had an old combi changed a few months ago. My man charged £1050 cash to supply/fit the combi, flush the system and change a couple of valves. Out of that, the combi was £700.How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?
