thanks Farway... you are right, the cherry was in the closed porch and that's probably why its budding. I have put it outdoors now. hope the buds will not be damaged now that they have turned green.
i used to think you can grow cherry and/or pear trees in largish pots... apparently not!Either way do try & get them in the ground ASAP or you will be making a summer watering rod for your back0
