Many thanks for this. Out of curiosity, how long does it take for them to credit the 1000 points to my clubcard? I've never used online codes with Tesco before.

I did a spend of £50,applied that code,and the system accepted it,although the code did'nt show as coming off my total.
That has happened before though,but the code has still been applied.
I'll see what the delivery man brings.

I do wish this search facility wasnt so naff. Its took me ages to find and copy this reply i posted when someone asked the same question just under a month ago:

What you need to do to add codes with an empty basket (or even a half full one) is this.

• Log in and go into the Groceries home page.
• You may or may not have items in your basket but if you dont just type something in the search box at the top. I normally type in vodka (cause i like the word). Add it to your basket.
• Go into checkout - where you will find a number of dates you can book your shopping. (dont forget these dates are only provisionaly booked till you complete your checkout). Select a date.
• Then you will be bought to the secure checkout page. If you scroll down the page you will see a box where you can put in your promotion code. Then click the box just below it saying 'use code'.
• At this DONT CONFIRM THE ORDER (unless you genuinely want it but go back the grocery basket at the top.

Hope this helps a little.

I have just registered my clubcard to my account and have tried all the codes on the thread here and none will bank .Can anyone help ?

You can enter a code into the system and it will accept it but unless you reach the minimum target of shopping required it won't apply it to your total. When you look at the checkout page it will tell you if the discount has been applied and adjust your total to pay. If this hasn't happened then the code is still "banked" to use another time or increase your shopping to reach the target

Edit: Also on the bottom of your confirmation email it will tell you which, if any, code has been accepted. HTH

Bleeeeding typical, Ive gone to buy my good lady a dyson, im good like that, and no codes are working, can anyone point me in the right direction to try and sweeten the purchase, of course my good ladies love is all the payment i require but any help would be appreciated

Phatbear, I have found this code for you XXVCYWQ. It says double clubcard points on electrical items and free delivery but not sure which it will give you. The DC14 animal dyson I have found for £229 which is quite a good price unless you already have one. TJ Hughes often have them cheap too is you have one nearby!
