Hi, I'm in South West Wales and about to do up the kitchen.
Can anyone give me an idea how much these separate jobs could cost?
1) Remove existing terracotta tiles from 3 x 4m floor (cinder base) and level with concrete.
2) Fitting Laminate / Wood flooring to above.
3) Strip wallpaper then Skim / Repair 2.5m walls - 2 x 3m & 2 x 4m. Also strip/skim/repair 3 x 4m ceiling. (Could strip it myself I guess)
4) Fit kitchen from flat-packs. Approx 5 asstd base units, 2 larder units and 4 wall units. Construct larder type unit for washing machine at base and dryer in top half. Plumb dishwasher and washing machine, bore hole through external wall for dryer vent. (I'll get my own electrician to move sockets etc)
I've had a very bad experience with plasterers in the past, so if anyone can recommend a plasterer in the Nth Swansea / Llanelli area I'd be grateful.

Life should be a little nuts; otherwise it's just a bunch of Thursdays strung together.

Hi
probably not having much luck as theres 3 different jobs here, flooring, skimming and kitchen fitting.. might be worth posting 3 smaller posts, just asking for rough prices for each of the needs one by one. That way you'll get floorers checking out your first post, plasterers or those had plastering done check out your seconf post and chippies and DIY'ers helping with your 3rd post..
good luck
