Hsbc Behavior Score And Overdraft

I have a HSBC Bank Account at the moment with an overdraft of £1500 interest free and a savings account with them. However I only recently opened both. I want to get a credit card from them later on. The questions which I was wondering if any one could help me with was:
- as I do not use the overdraft does that mean that my behavior score is reduced because I have not used their credit facilities? or is it increased because I have never needed to?
- I was intended on getting an ISA from them before the cut off of 4th April 2008 but was wondering would get this ISA affect my score because it is a new account with them again?
any help would be appreciated. thanks guys.

I could only answer your first question. Not using the O/D facility provided will NOT affect your behaviour score in anyway. It may even improve it! I was offered a credit card at the same time when I was offered an O/D. So you should go ahead and apply for a credit card. They shouldn't be any problem, so don't worry!0

Having a savings account with them will improve your score0

I've just come off a £1500 interest free overdraft with HSBC. I've now been informed that I'm on a massive 17.35% pa or 1.45% per month. I'm paying about £2-3 per month in interest.
I'd prefer to stay with them, it's convenient for me but I don't want to pay the fees. Could I haggle with them, threaten to leave etc? Say I'd go to Alliance & Leicester or whatever? I could pay it back in a couple of months but really I'd like to leave it until about September time as I have a 0% CC introductory rate running out in August.2016 diet challenge 16lbs/42lbs lost

FWIW, I have been with HSBC for many years and have an extremely high behaviour score ( first rank ). Whilst I have a £150 overdraft facility, I have never used it. I don't have a savings account with them either. Two weeks ago I applied for their credit card and they gave me a limit of £1500. I returned it to them as it was no good to me. I always get very high credit limits elsewhere so don't be too disappointed if after all the effort you put in to HSBC, you end up getting a card with a limit you're not happy with, as you can always apply elsewhere.0
