HELP !
No internet, no e-mail since Thursday, phoned Tesco Friday morning & was told it must be my router, I tried everything but could not sort anything out, so called out a nice computer expert around to check out my system, after 2 hours he could not find any problems & asked me to phone tesco's again, so I did they tried to fob me off until I passed the phone to 'My expert' and Tesco then admitted that the server was down.
It is now Monday pm, still no internet, I have phoned and phoned them but nothing, first told the problem would be sorted in 48 hours, then they don't know.
I am getting very very mad.
I am at the library at the moment.
Can't e-mail Tesco to find out what is going on.
Any Help,
Please
Sue

Create a free dial up account with http://www.freeuk.net/dialup.php then use a dial up modem for temporary access? Other than phoning tesco.net for a status report or requesting your MAC mode and signing up with another ISP which will take approximately 2 weeks.
Alternatively, you could goto http://www.ebuyer.com/product/140009 or http://www.three.co.uk/personal/products_services_/mobile_broadband_/detail.omp or http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/shop/mobile-broadband/laptop/?ref=newhome_broadband and sign up for instant high speed modem access on one of their PAYG service plans.
HTHIt could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.0 -
I've not had any problems with Tesco at all but I did see someone else on the Internet board say they had, Service Status showing as okay here..

Only other thing I can suggest is has your bill been paid as I lost email with them, still had internet access and it turned out for some reason my bill paying method had been cancelled. I used my debit card to pay it over the phone and they reinstated it straight away.0
