Megatrain?

Can anyone help me - I used to book the Megatrain to Plymouth from Bristol where I live, but for some reason, the only tickets available from Bristol on their website are to Cwmbran and London, i.e. on the Megabus - it doesn't give me any options for train travel.

Does anyone know if they have cancelled tickets on that train for any reason, or am I just being a dunce and looking in the wrong place? The website I'm going to is http://www.megatrain.com/uk/

Thanks.

Virgin Trains (together with SouthWest Trains) run Megatrain.

Virgin no longer run trains to Plymouth - its now Arriva I think.
So no Megatrain to Plymouth anymore.

South West Trains run Bristol to Salisbury and Salisbury to Plymouth. Don't know if you could do it that way on two tickets.

I'm actually trying to get to Cornwall so that would probably take me too far out of the way.

When did they stop running then? We got them in November.

No. There is no Megatrain service to Plymouth. The only Megatrain service from Bristol is to London.

I think is was November when the Cross Country franchise changed from Virgin to Arriva.

Thanks for your reply. It's disappointing, as it was good value.

I've now managed to get two returns from Bristol to Newquay for £40, so I'm happy enough anyway!
