Days out in Devon

Can anyone recommend any free or inexpensive days out in Devon please? The weather is not looking too good!

there is in galmpton a national trust house where agatha christie lived. There is also a small place past there, which (and i don't remember the name of the place) but it's a tiny place, you ring a bell and they bring a boat over and take you to a tiny place where you can go for a cream tea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
