Decent but reasonable hotel Manchester

Going to the Springsteen concert at Old Trafford on May 28th. Can anyone recommend a good hotel not too far away?

Sorry, can't recommend a hotel but this may help, there's links to Manchester hotels and B&Bs on the following website:

    hope this helps
  • Hi

I have stayed at the Lowry- expensive but nice and often really good offers that make it a very good deal, call them or check their web site.

The copthorne- 5 mins walk from Old Trafford, good hotel. There is a premier inn near to the Copthorne that is an easy walk to Old trafford. Suspect it would be sold out for that night though.

The Golden Tulip is the closest but never stayed there.

    Good luck

I think most of the hotels near the ground will already be full.

Quite easy by tram to get to OT from city centre.
There are plenty of hotels to choose from from Premier Inn/Travelodge to The Lowry.

The Campanile isnt too far away. Cheap rooms with bar & restaurant but I expect it will be booked with a big event on but worth a try

The Lowry is lovely I agree and brilliant for star spotting too but for Manchester now I use priceline. Last 2 bids for a 4 star Manchester city centre has got me the Marriott Victoria & Albert for £50 which is almost as nice for a third of the price of the Lowry.

I won a break to The Old Trafford lodge last year. Nice rooms over looking the cricket pitch. Similar prices to Travelodge, but a decent continental buffet breakfast included.
