dragon oil share cert help!

i appear not to have a dragon oil share certificate.
i contacted capita registrars in dublin who have sent me an indemnity form to fill in.
they want 60 euros for admin which is fair enough i suppose .
unfortunately they have asked for a signature/stamp of approval from my bank/insurance company/guarantee society who also have to be registered in ireland.
my toy town bank lloyds tsb say they dont do this.so what do i do?

I'm also in the same position with no joy from Barclays. I have requested help again from Capita (no doubt we both got the same standard letter).

i spoke to capita today. their only response was to give me a contact no. for a specific person at hibernian insurance who can act as guarantor. i was told it will cost a further 100 euro.
60 euro to capita registrar for admin +100 euro to hibernian.
a total of 160 euro for me to get a share certificate which i cant recall being sent out in first place although i cant prove this.
it all seems a bit suss to me as they couldnt give me a selection of companys who may offer service. the hibernian bloke said if i were to go through the likes of norwich union they would charge in region of £200.
im just wondering who i approach as i feel im being taken for a ride. i only have 290 shares so am looking at around 1200 quid if i were to trade them in as they appear to be on the slide recently.i was wondering if anyone has any advice or who i should contact re help in this matter regards, john

yorkie - when i went into barclays wigan the customer services bloke reckoned that if id banked with them "they may have been able to do something for me"

bumping this as I have the same problem! I can't get my building society to help and the standard letter just says 'approach your bank' and googling for info led me straight back to good old MSE!!!!
:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:

frannyann i ended up paying the admin fee to capita registrars and also the fee to hibernian to act as guarantor as i couldnt find any other way of getting a new share certificate.also when i went to pay the 60 euros to capita my bank tsb charged me another £20 for sending a cheque in euros.hope you find a cheaper way but i doubt it.
