Has anyone else waited ages for home direct delivery- ordered items was told would be delivered in over a months time! Is it me or is that pretty bad service?

if they dont have stock then they are at the mercy of their suppliers.

we ordered a bed which took 6 weeks to arrive.

Also ordered a cupboard once that took nearly 3 months to arrive told when ordered was told would be within 14days, and when i tried to get my money back they said i would have to refuse the delivery when it arrives then i can get my money back.

But that was a few years back not had any probs of late.

argos home delivery is the worse, when i first moved into my flat i waited 9 weeks for my fridge freezer and over 3 months for my washing maching i made several complaints as i found it so hard having a new born baby with no fridge ot washing machine, although all i got was a snotty letter and a £10 voucher which didnt even cover the cost of the phone calls i made
