Just looking into rental in this emerging market.
Does anyone have any experience of the developers in this market - there are a few big players who are taking instalments on properties due for completion in 2006/2007.
Is it worth it - studios from £40k. 1 beds from £55k?

Hi Riz,
Hmmmm, if I could answer that I may be jumping in myself. Unfortunatley nothing is a foregone conclusion in the investment world as you only have past figures to work with.
If you have the cash spare and the guts, then this type of investment can pay off big, but it can also fall apart if you deal with the wrong people.
There are so many companies offering this type of thing at the moment it is easy to get confused and lost, to the point where you never go ahead with it.
I have recently invested in Spain and through long hard research I found a well established, friendly estate agent, a brilliant developer and proffessional lawyer, all who I felt comfortable with, which was my priority.
The difficult part in this environment is finding people you can trust. Once you have found them it's so much easier.
There are still lots of fantastic opportunities in Spain at the moment, which are a little more expensive compared to the brand new areas like Dubai but this is because the market is more established and easier to try and predict.
If you would consider starting your investing career a little closer to home with the Spanish market, then drop me a PM and I will give you some good starting pointers.
If you do decide to go further afield then I wish you the best of luck, in fact also look at Bulgaria and Thailand, which are also very cheap at the moment, but will they go large? One thing is for sure, if you don't go for it you will never know! ::)
Kind Regards
Kenny B0
