Apparently there is one coupon book being handed out at the door but it is not worth much! No other coupons inside were found inside either on Saturday. Certainly not paying the entrance fee. Hope this helps.0

Just returned from the Ideal Home Show.
Worth a visit to see Century Street and Dream Home.
The voucher booklets contain about £3 in useable coupons (managed to get four) and they are handing out goody bags on presentation of Showguide which also contains some coupons and free samples of products.0 -
If you got your tickets in advance then you get a free show guide when you enter; this doesn't come with the free bag for life (that is free for people buying a show guide on the day) but you can buy the bag on its own for £1.
It is very strong and useful to carry all the stuff you may collect while walking round the show!
You will also be given a paper carrier bag with a Daily Mail, map of the show and the voucher book mentioned - about two thirds of the way through is a voucher for a free box (worth 99p) of chocolates from Thorntons. There is also a free eye test voucher from D&A and a couple of other useful vouchers.
There are also people giving away free samples of Cif cleaner - you can get loads of that if you keep going back!!!
The show guide will allow you to get a goody bag (we had to go to the other side of the building to collect it). This has lots of freebies in it, including toilet cleaner and loo roll (!) as well as chocolate bar, muesli bars, crisps etc. It is a good idea to go through that bag and take out the envelope of vouchers and leaflets as well as the Wilkinsons catalogue - if you value your shoulder muscles, that is!!!
People were spending £12 on trolleys with collapsable crates - just to carry their bags and purchases - so if you plan to shop at the show you might want to take something like that along with you. They do have a left luggage/cloakroom near the entrance as well.
Food and drink is a bit pricey (eg £1.60 for a bottle of water) and some people had brought their own. You can graze on the demonstration samples - try the Vita Mix stands for some superb smoothies and soups!
Most stands selling goods were offering special show prices - but some items were crazy prices even the! You could have an impulse splurge on Botox and teeth whitening at one stand, for example!!!
The Dream House was great and we were entertained in the celebrity kitchen with some 'wild' cookery. Don't go to that one if you have a pet rabbit!!!0 -
I have just got back from the ideal home show and the goodie bag
samples including a pack of toilet rolls, hob cleaner, oxi clean,2 comforts,
zoflora disinfectant, bottle of red palm and canola oil, persil mighty wash
2 musli bars and a coup[le of bits and 2x 50p off coupons
you get cif actifizz each when you go in to the show
also in the coupon books that they were giving out more on the
way out there is about £5 worth of coupons and a coupon to take to
thorntons for a free box of moments chocs
so including the freebies and nice tasties on the way around it was
a very enjoyable show but expensive for eats and drinks0 -
Do you still get the goodie bag if you have complimentary tickets??? Also do you need to redeem the Thorntons voucher at the show or in any branch of Thorntons???0

The goody bag is available on presentation of the showguide. My guide was included in tickets price so not sure how much one would be to purchase.
Thorntons chocs are available from any store not exhibition.
I have tried using vouchers in Tesco. The Tesco specific for chocolate drink does not scan but all the other moc coupons do.0 -

You need the Show Guide to get the goodie bag (they mark the book when you collect the goodie bag). I bought our show tickets using the BOGOF offer, which included a free show guide for each person.
The Thorntons voucher can be used anywhere - you'll find the little boxes of 'Moments' chocolates on the shelves. We used our vouchers in Covent Garden to get chocs to take to the theatre the same evening (discount tickets for that of course) following our BOGOF meal at Maxwells in Covent Garden (using our train tickets - purchased with railcards). A real MSE day out in London!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -

Looks like the show guides are £5 if not inc with tickets and you get a free bag for life with that. Have to decide if what you get in the goodie bag is worth £5 now!!!!0 -
I'm off there next Friday.
Sis managed to get the tickets BOGOF0
