Hi Rubiel - try the New Car Buying and Cost Cutting Plan article. I'll move this to the Motoring Board for a better response

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.0 -
Ask you local Trading Standards if they offer a list of decent garages around town. Our town offers a list of "approved traders"0

Try ebay, i have bought all my cars from there and have never had a bad experience. Nearly all sellers are more than happy to allow you to veiw the vehicle before you bid, bring a partner or parent too.
Most cars sell for way below what a dealer would charge too. The only down side is not many are still with in their warranty BUT there are some dealers who advertise on ebay to get more of the market.0
