I have just been into my brand new Tesco Home store in Bracknell. I wanted to buy a pressure washer. These are highlighted in the catalogue on page 72, and in the index this is classed as Garden. The washer was £80, and we asked at customer service if we could use our club card points £40 of them to double up and gt vouchers for £80. Yes we were told. So we got our vouchers, picked up the washer and got to the checkout. At the checkout the vouchers would not work with the washer. The washer was not registered in the garden section. The duty manager was called and told us the only thing he could do was to take our £80 and give us back the original £40 in gift card. However the gift card could nt be used to double up on anything. So this is completely useless.
Amazingly if you go online and order it, you can use your vouchers to double up on the same product, and then collect it from the very same store.
So never use the vouchers in store, they are just not set up to handle them as well as they can online.0 -

i would call cs, by giving you the gift card you have lost your club card voucher which is worth 4 times in deals or double online and instore so now you only have the cash value £40 so you have lost up to £800 -
Apologies if I'm being stupid.....I'm new to the clubcard scheme and I've received a £1 off coupon in my statement. I've read the guide and realised it's better to use it on the rewards as it's worth more. But how do I change it into a reward voucher (had a look on the voucher but it doesn't say??):hello:

Sorry- someone correct me if I'm wrong but I don't know if you can- I think the minimum they will accept is £5 to exchange for £10- you need to go to the customer service tills in the stores- is Tescos your main store?
If your looking at getting vouchers from them, you'd need to get 500 clubcard points a quarter which means spending £50 in total in that time instore- and always remembering to swipe your clubcard each time- you should get a voucher for £5 then which is the minimum for exhanging for a voucher. Yep, minimum is £5 in original clubcard vouchers. You'll have to wait until the next lot come out and add them all together until you get a minimum of £5.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. sorry for being a bit thick here, but how do you save your points? I get a voucher through every 3 months for the amount on my clubcard so I can't save up.
Also how do I use clubcard points to make great savings on wine?sieze the carp0 -

The voucher you get is valid for 2 years so just keep it safe and add it to the next ones and then when you want to use go to the Tesco website and input the codes on the vouchers to exchange them for whatever you have chosen to spend them on.
For a time the value of the vouchers was worth double in store when you bought certain things like wine, but this has finished now.
