knitwit wrote:I looked on Haven's website and found a half price, half board holiday in September. It was about £265 for the 4 of us.
So I rang Haven and asked how much the same holiday was if I used Tesco vouchers. The price I was quoted was about £500 less my £65 of vouchers.
So I would have been paying £240 cash plus the £65 in vouchers (worth £260).
Not what I call a good deal
Its a trick you need to watch out for ... reduces the x4 value , and in this case only really worth considering if you
1. Have it all ( or nearly all ) in tesco deals - thereby getting around x2 value
&
2. No better use .

Just booked a flight with XL... they don't seem to do this "con "
apart from not getting quidco and discount codes , was charged the normal internet price ( had to pay taxes/ extras in cash though )
Of course always check you can't get the flights cheaper eslewhere)... I could of, ( but only with horrible times) but calculated I stil got equalivant to over X3 tesco vouchers for using with XL compared against thatAny posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0 -

Can anyone tell me which companies do deals for Disneyland Paris using Tesco vouchers.
Would dearly love to take my kids but the only one I can find is by Leger (coach), they are both travel sick so thats out and we need a flying or Eurostar one, preferably flying. Theres no mention of it with Cosmos.
Thanks in advance
Hiya
Leger also do Eurostar and Fliying holidays. When you put in your requests for dates etc you can opt for preferred form of travel.
Just looked at the small print and it seems you can only use your clucard vouchers when travelling by coach - sorry! I've heard they are looking for other providers for Eurodisney because it is so popular.

I'm now thinking of exchanging my vouchers for P and O Ferries.
We normally go on the BOGOF mini cruises from Hull to Bruges, but these are only in the winter. I thought it would be a nice to go in the summer, I realise that it wont be BOGOF but if paying with Tesco vouchers it wont cost anything anyway.
Has anyone any experience with P and O and Tesco voucher deals?0 -
how can I swap my vouchers the ones to spend in store and building them up please0

Yes, I did, you will need to ring them, its not anything to worry about, Tesco do need the vouchers to even be in date.
You can ring them up and they will add the due to expire ones to the next mailing for you. I also asked for ones that were going to be up after six months as I had no plans to spend them.0 -

I rang them and the female who answered said they could not be renewed so I ordered a Stena voucher with them instead. The only problem with the Stena voucher is that it can only be used on the Economy ticket.0
