Builders - I-Beam (RSJ?) cost ?

Hi,
My mum had a kitchen refit done years ago which included an unnecessary I-Beam being fitted - neither the plans nor the building inspector said it was required.
I also think she may have been stung for the cost of it too.
Could any builders give an estimated cost for a 7mm * 150mm * 3000 mm (thickness, height, length) I-Beam.
Thankfully, it'll be getting removed soon and I'd like to sell it on to the builder too
TIA.
