For a couple of weeks now I have been getting a pop up on my laptop. I click ok and it goes but then it pops up again soon after. I have no idea why it suddenly started and have no idea how to stop it or even what its for.
Can anyone shed any light on it for me please?
The box is titled Network Connections and it says Cannot load dialog.
Error 623: The system could not find the phonebook entry for this connection.

Thank you. I have looked at that but I dont know what it means by a VPN connection. I know what that stands for but dont know what it is or if I have one. I do not have the options mentioned below in step 3 in bold.
3.Right-click the VPN connection, and then click Properties.4.Click to select the Dial another connection first check box, and then click the appropriate dial-up connection. If there are no dial-up connections to select, you may have to create a dial-up connection and repeat these steps.
If your VPN connection does not require a dial-up connection, click to clear the Dial another connection first check box, and then click OK.0 -
If you click on INTERNET OPTIONS in Control Panel, then click on the connections tab, is there anything there that looks wrong, or could fit the description?A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.0

Possibly. There are 2 old connections there and an option to dial whenever a network connection is not present was selected so ive changed that and will see how it goes.

If they re-appear it might be worth running an adware scanner, there's a discussion on cleaning up your PC here :- http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=133269
