What about the effective 'interest free' period on credit cards when you make purchases - ie the time between making the purchase and paying the associated credit card liability? Do you see this as 'wrong'?
What about low rate offers, say 2.9%, as opposed to 0% offers? These are still below the base rate so you are making use of the card companies' funds, ie it is costing them to let you have money at this rate. Your post on another thread indicates that you seem to think this is OK:
Double-standards anybody?
lol u cant read can u? if you look at the original post that you quoted, you'll see i was trying to quote the above poster. STUPID!0 -
Says the man who couldn't figure out how to use the quote button! Anyway, I've no interest in any further trading of insults - I've little doubt that you will prove to be far more adept at that than I am.THE_ROCK84 wrote:lol u cant read can u? if you look at the original post that you quoted, you'll see i was trying to quote the above poster. What about the question I posed regarding use of the effective interest-free period? Do you not make use of your credit card(s) in that way? Do you think it is 'wrong'?
Do you never make use of the low rate offers?«««¤ Richie ¤»»»0 -
The most likely to go bad... which is why all the banks etc have been increasing their bad debt provisions for unsecured lending.tinalives wrote:What do they mean by Britain being 'the most difficult credit market'?
As to stoozing - I don't do it, but no different to taking advantage of any other 'free'/cheap deal (including supermarket bogofs, book clubs etc). They're obviously not making what they expected - plan was that nobody would be able to repay or transfer - so now they're introducing transfer charges. I assume they'll nudge these up (in line with all the other providers of course) until the books balance - in the meantime, if they want to give money away....0 -

Says man that cant read. Yes I pay of in full, but that is not stooozing, and no i dont may use of ANY low rate offer, because im not stupid enough to get in that much debt. Better? I hope they INCREASE THE FEES OF BALANCE TRANSFER to something like "10%"

You sound very young by the way you speak. I hope that you are lucky enough in your lifetime to not have some unfortunate, unforseeable circumstance happen upon you, thereby affecting your finances.

You appear to be rather judgemental over people in debt, considering you have a default on your credit file yourself.0 -

Gosh! I think you are being very hard on people, not everyone is in debt through "being stupid", I have a bit of debt thanks to trusting my husband who is now my ex and to be honest I don't really like being classed as "stupid". I have always been very trusting in the past so sorry if being trusting and a nice person is stupid but there you go, I feel it is wrong to class everyone with debt as being stupid! Ok I'll go now0 -
