soappie, that's not too bad for a garage price, my partners doing mine now, service stuff for both cars didn't even cost me half that thankfully, wouldn't be able to run 2 cars if we didn't do most of it ourselves. DON'T top up the oil unless you haven't used the car for at least 8 hours is our personal rule, makes sure we know it's cold. Most cars don't use much oil unless they are old. I've known a few people who have goosed engines overfilling with oil, I'm forever telling my Mother off for worrying as it's 'below the max' :rotfl:

ChasingButterflies, if only we could pick family honey, big hugs for you, try to let it go over your head (I know it's hard, trying to ignore my sisters latest threat at the minute...)

Right, best go finish helping DP with the service. TTFN :D
One day I might be more organised...........

    Hiya everyone,
Doctor been and left all good as it was a doctor that knows us well phew. He's been discharged but told me that if there was any problems lift the phone and someone will be there straight away, also meds have been lowered so hopefully no more being sedated.:j
Everyone feed and water but DS1 has a rash on the back of both knees so gonna take him to MIL's so she can have a look (she's was a nurse in childrens ward). Kitchen good and hubby away with FIL to cut sticks.

Feeling in great form now so MIL's first then bedroom with the music on (really loud:rotfl: ).
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

So think the only other option is to carrying on like this, I love - adore - my baby but not coping well with anything at the minute and just need a little break from him and the house but have no friends or anyone to have a bit of fun with, most people I know work or are just people I chat to in passing, no friends and no idea how to go about making new ones.

tracy from memory you don't live too far from me, what about us organising a meet up? PM if you like, no pressure either way ;)

Hi everyone - been far too busy flying to talk yet today.

Did my tesco shop this morning. Spent £97:eek: . A bit more than intended but did have coupons as follows:
    • 50p off quorn (2 of these)
    • 25 free clubcard points
    • 20 points when buying beans
    • free bag for life
    • entry to win 1000 points
    • entry to win denby dinner set
    • free bag of snack a jacks
Think the SA thought I was a bit of a loony with all of those! Also had a coupon for free trident gum but they had none in stock:mad: .

Not managed to change the bedding yet but did attempt to fix my drawer that broke in the bedroom - don't think I've managed that but nearly managed to stick my fingers together with the superglue.:rotfl:

GnB - I mentioned the Bupa training programme so for anyone looking to get fit / lose weight etc. here's the link. Its an 8 week programme designed to get you to 5k (3 miles) from doing absolutely nothing!

    http://www.bupa.co.uk/health_information/html/healthy_living/lifestyle/exercise/running/beginner/programme.html

I'm on week 4 of the 10K programme but can only go twice a week. Except for this week as on Monday night I pulled a muscle hoovering!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: Dangerous stuff this housework.

Anyway, off to school. See you all later. x

Evening, had a good day, now have an incredibly tired whiny child though. She's not been feeling well and has got over tired, not a good combo. Went to the nursery coffee afternoon thing, then a couple of us went back to one of the mums houses. Like you Tracy i dont have very many friends in the area so it was really nice of her to invite me.

Got back home to some lovely fresh french bread:D First loaf was very successful, was a little too sweet for my liking so need to play about with quantities a little.

I am about to have a small rant though, got an email from a random guy this morning complaining that i wasnt selling my concert tickets at face value:confused: He's sent me 2 emails saying i should sell them at face value so genuine fans like him could go! Well if he's that much of a fan he should have bought them when they went on sale:mad: He's being really aggro with me! If i were to sell them at face value it certainly wouldnt be to him.
Sorry for the rant, just cant believe some people, emailing a total stranger to have a go at them!
