I am interested in buying Sunterra points. Does anyone have any negative or positive comments about the system and how to join as cheap as poss?

There are some other threads on the site if you search Sunterra.
I woud consider it if I lived within the immediate vicinity of a UK Sunterra location as you can use the leisure facilities as a Health/Gym club and then the holidays are a bonus.
I didn't find the selling high pressure but I visited an UK site, others I spoke to felt they had been persuaded to buy extra points while abroad reluctantly.

interesting point Ted, heard this comment before about timeshare, but did not realise we had a timeshare site as close as we do ( about 15-20mins)- and that in fact its a sunterra
Having just joined a Gym ( 5mins away) perhaps this would have been a better solution.
