We went in january and booked tickets through the London Eye as we wanted to go on that as well. I think it worked out a little cheaper than booking separately. One thing to bear in mind though is if you do something like that you have to swap the tickets the Eye issue to 'proper' ones before you get in the queue for the exhibition.
While there are no toilets int he exhibition if you have a child who is desperate just ask one of the gurads/attendants and they will let you through to them and you can get back in. Guess what happened with my 5 year old when we were there!
The souvenires are very expensive, however my daughter bought a book for £10 and we couldn't find it for less than £14 online wehen we got back so that particular one was actually a bargain. I think it was this one of course it may be cheaper online now.
We drove down the day before and stayed in a Travel Lodge at East Horndon for £19 and drov ein on the morning, the drive was OK and it as we were going to the exhibition we could park all day at the O2 for £5 which seemed pretty cheap. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
Thanks everyone!

We went in December and, yes, the souvenirs were ridiculously expensive. The cheapest things to buy were the postcards and they were 50p each if I remember correctly! The exhibiton is not very well signed once you are in the O2. If you enter from the tube, bear right and the exhibition is about a quarter of the way round.0
