    I think my bills are quite high but we pay about £70 for gas and £80 for electricity. An average might be £50 per month for each so you could pay half, or part of your arrangement is that you pay such a low figure for rent because you pay the bills.

    Our water bill is about £30 per month.

    That seems fair to me 5YP.

    Would you also pay towards the TV liscence and contents insurance?

    On top of your essential outgoings you are then allowed a £99 surplus then the OR will give you an IPA on your surplus. This is usually 50-70% of your surplus leaving you with 50-30% of the surplus.

    may be able to look at bills tonight...
    the way i look at it is that up to now i have been paying out £1200 pm for loans,HP and credit cards sooooo if i am slapped with a £400 iva i will still be better off..
    but .... i wont have my harley .. :-(
