You'll be fine with showing your phone, just dont mention internet or anything like sky.
Its doubtfull you would be able to keep your current car, i think normally anything over £2k in value and its a no no but really would depend on your OR whether they would be happy with you paying the finance every monthLife is like a game of Snakes & Ladders, i almost made it to the top but now i'm at the bottom again and its a very long ladder to the top. I had it all and now its gone

I imagine its quite a complicated situation with HP cars, especially when negative equity is involved, as you dont own the car so the OR cannot take it but you owe the HP company more than the car is worth, so it may depend on what the HP company have to say about it, i suppose it would be in their interest for you to keep paying as if they took it back they wouldnt recoup their losses. Hopefully someone who's been in the situation can give you more advice and a lot can depend on the OR you get, they all seem to handle things differently, some being more ameanable than others.Life is like a game of Snakes & Ladders, i almost made it to the top but now i'm at the bottom again and its a very long ladder to the top. Is your car on HP or did you take out a loan to buy it? Check your agreement because it does make a difference. If it was a loan then you own the car, if it was HP, the finance company owns the car. It wouldn't look odd if your mother raised your rent as it is the beginning of the financial year and a good time to do so. Also who's to say if you contribute on top of rent. You could pay her on top of the £80 (you could raise it to £100) on top of that you could also be contributing to elec, gas phone (btw you could ge talk talk for £20-£25 per month and it includes free broadband and free phone calls to prefixes 01 and 02). Of course you pay these extra bills to your mother in cash each month.
You really need to maximise your I&E because if anything crops up remember you don't have credit to get you through.

Is there any way you could tell your mum about your BR? It would be a weight off your mind especially as you live with her and you will be getting phone calls, post etc. then if she does have to confirm anything it won't be a surprise to her.

as i dont pay any electricity and water bills what is a common amount pm for
each please ?0 -
I think my bills are quite high but we pay about £70 for gas and £80 for electricity. An average might be £50 per month for each so you could pay half, or part of your arrangement is that you pay such a low figure for rent because you pay the bills.
Our water bill is about £30 per month.
