Good morning!
I am thinking of changing my old post office corded phone with something digital and cordless. But It must have 3 features to make it worth buying:
1.Name (not only numbers) phonebook
2.Call volume control (my hearing is not what it use to be)
3.Up to £30-£40
There are so many DECT phones out there which make it really difficult to find the one I need, any help will be appreciated.

I am a fan of Philips DECT phones as they seem to work better than the other brands I have tried in the past..

These are refurbished but look brand new when taken out of the tatty cardboard box.
Work well and have the features you have asked for (along with handsfree etc).
Thanks

No, the Philips phones are just regular DECT cordless phones - Novatech also sell Skype phones on the same category page.

I would hazard a guess that all DECT phones have what you require as they are more akin to mobiles than anything else and they all have those facilites.I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.0

...but not all DECT phones are created equal - the "Crystal Sound 2" technology in Philips phones really does seem to improve clarity...

Hi Gavin,
Have you any more suggestions as to where I can purchase a Philips 515 x3 phone set. Novatech are O/S and scan or microdirect are not showing that they even stock them. Must be discontinued or very popular! Thanks0
