in Credit cards
I applied online for an abbey card but thought I had been rejected.
got a letter through and says the offer was conditional and they need proof of ID etc.
I now ironically do not need this card for a transfer as i sold my card and paid off most of the old intended transfer balance.
Whats the best thing to do? Ring anf cancel or go through with the application for credit history purposes
I jhave been sent a credit agreement form and request for ID, uttility bill etc,.

I'm going to guess that was your car that you sold ;p
Abbey have a decent offer on at the moment, 0% for 13 months on balance transfer, 2.5% fee.
You could always complete the application process, clear the rest of the balance your car didn't clear, then stooze the rest of the money and make a few quid in the process?"A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0 -
Good plan. Thanks0

Made the decision to go ahead, get the card, got a few to cancel and I can use the transfer rate nicely too overall.
