underfloor heating

Wondering if i can get a bit of advice.
We are due , within the next year or so to change our boiler and heating system.

Now i would like underfloor heating but how reliable is it and i am worried about if it goes wrong i would have to pull up my flooring all the time ,
any advice appriciated

    depends what type, wet or dry (plumbed or electric). If electric stops working chances are it will just be a certain area of the floor that will no loner be heated, but to repair you would probably need to remove the tiles over the offending area. Similarly with a plumbed system there is less to go wrong, but if it did (can't think of a decent reason), the whole floor would need to come up (concrete and all). I'm guessing your not having the floor up to install plumbed (or are you?) If its an existing concrete floor an electric system makes far more sense. If you have suspended wooden floors I believe you can still install a plumbed system, and obviously this would be easier to access should anything go wrong.
