Watch 4od online

Not sure if this is the right place or not but please move it if not.
Ive just installed channel 4 on demand. Otherwise known as 4od. No cost to view although you can pay for films. Basically its a catch up channel for programmes for the past 30 days that you may have missed and wanted to watch. I was glad to see 3 wife swpas and the American Jamies kitchens from hell the other night when I couldnt find anything on tv. I think you can also watch it on free tv chanells but our reception is poor so not lucky there. You can also download programmes free.

You need to make sure you have the latest version of Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player - then re-start your machine and instead of clicking on the 4od icon go to start and click on 'New Programs'. It will then work.

It's worth it, you can watch the entire back catalogue of Father Ted. It's even better after all this time.

  • If you use 4od click on the free programmes which you can store on your pc for up to 30 days. Once you have opened one of them to view its only then available for 49 hours to watch. Its not something you can keep.
A good thing to have tho when theres nothing on-download a few progs and save for a "rainty" day.
