First direct have upped their cashback to £50 and via greasypalm you can now get an additional £6.75 BUT you must switch your salary to them this time. No money for nought anymore
You may also want to check your favourite cashback site as others will no doubt be doing this and some are more generous than others.

Dear xxx,
Switch to a better bank. For a limited period, when you apply for a First Direct bank account on-line and transfer your salary/income, First Direct will add £50 to your account.

Not as far as I know. But there is the £100 switching bonus for new customers. First Direct is also offering £50 referral payments to account holders. So if you know someone you could get him or her to split the £50.0

It is actually £100 to switch banking to FD. Then another £100 if you don't like it. (but you will!) I have two referals left for another £50 on top of that which I am willing to share with any genuine new FD customer.0

Please don't use greasypalm, I'm currently in a dispute with them as I accumilate over £200 cash back but before it was paid they deleted my account and are refusing to re-instate it. They won't explain why and as far as I'm concerned I haven't done anything to compromise their rules.
They even used my name for 3 weeks running promoting me as a 'top earner' and put a link underneath to tell others how I did it!!
If anyone else has had a similar experience with this site please contact me as I'd like to take it further, or at least find out what they've done with my £200 and the money they earned from me sitching my bank accounts, utilities and insurance policies.0
