I've been offered an interest free period on purchases on one of my c cards. If I made a payment on my other c card with it would it be classed as a purchase? Just wondered if it could be used to transfer some of my balance. Thanks

No, the credit card companies won't allow this, it would be classed as a Balance Transfer.
You need to ask them if they will extend the 0% promotion to Balance Transfers aswell.0 -
